What a Complete Hormone Lab Panel Includes

People often ask what “complete labs” means before a hormone visit. A complete hormone lab panel is a group of blood tests a clinician may order so symptoms, history, and numbers can be reviewed together. It is not a diagnosis, not a treatment plan, and not a reason to start or stop medication on your own.

If you live in Boynton Beach, greater Palm Beach County, or elsewhere in South Florida, this guide is lab literacy. Your clinician decides which tests are appropriate. Exact markers can vary by sex, age, medications, and what the visit is meant to answer.

Why clinicians order a panel instead of one number

A single hormone result rarely explains how someone feels. Supervised hormone replacement and testosterone evaluation usually look at more than one marker, plus the person in front of the clinician.

  • Context: Symptoms, sleep, medications, and other conditions belong next to the labs.

  • Related systems: Thyroid, blood counts, and binding proteins can change how a hormone number is read.

  • Trends: A later draw may matter more than one isolated value.

That is why BIOELITE talks about evaluation first. For men, the public approach also includes asking whether the body’s own testosterone production can be stimulated medically before considering replacement, when that pathway is appropriate.

What a complete panel may include

Names and counts differ by laboratory and by the order. Educational examples only—not a do-it-yourself checklist:

Sex hormones and related markers

  • Total testosterone and, when ordered, free versus total testosterone

  • Estradiol and other sex-hormone context

  • LH and FSH , which can help clinicians think about signal from the brain versus output from the gonads

  • SHBG , a binding protein that can change how much hormone is available

Thyroid, blood counts, and safety labs

  • Thyroid markers when they are relevant to energy, weight, or follow-up

  • Blood counts, including hematocrit when testosterone therapy is being discussed or monitored

  • Metabolic or prostate-context labs such as PSA when a clinician decides they belong in the same review

A “complete” panel on a price list is a packaged set of tests. It is not a promise that every listed marker is required for every person. Your clinician decides what to order.

What the results do not decide by themselves

Lab ranges are laboratory tools. “In range” is not the same as “explained,” and “out of range” is not a prescription. A consultation does not guarantee a prescription or any particular treatment.

People sometimes want to translate a printout into a plan at home. That is not safe. Dosing, peptide choices, and whether therapy is appropriate at all require a licensed clinician and, when medication is prescribed, a valid prescription filled through a licensed pharmacy.

How this fits the BIOELITE process

The usual public pathway is conversation, then any ordered lab testing , then a clinician visit to review options, limits, and alternatives. An introductory team conversation is not a medical evaluation.

Current cash-pay lab and consult prices are listed on the pricing page . Medication and treatment are quoted separately. Promotional laboratory prices may change.

When to ask the team a question

If you want to understand panel differences, next steps, or whether an evaluation is appropriate, contact BIOELITE in Boynton Beach or use the contact form . Nearby cities such as Boca Raton and Delray Beach are discussed on the Palm Beach County page. Ask about telehealth only for your location; availability depends on licensure and care needs.
